Job summary

Texas Roadhouse in Louisville, KY is seeking an IT Security Analyst II to join our Security Operations and Incident Response team. You’ll protect systems, networks, and data, working hands-on with vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response.

This is an on-site position with a hybrid arrangement (minimum 3 days in the office) at the Support Center in Louisville, Kentucky. You’ll collaborate across the organization to strengthen our security posture and enable secure

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in IT or related field preferred.
• CompTIA Security+ or higher certification required.
• 4+ years of IT security experience.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS frameworks.
• Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response.
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and other security tech.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and server operating systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: CompTIA Cloud+, CC, SSCP, CCSP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and potential incidents.
• Investigate suspicious activity and help respond to security breaches from containment through recovery.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and help implement controls to reduce risk.
• Support configuration and maintenance of security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, endpoints).
• Develop, maintain, and enforce information security policies and standards.
• Stay ahead of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends.
• Partner with teammates and other departments to improve security practices.
• Support security awareness and training initiatives for employees.
• Provide timely reporting on security events, incidents, and vulnerabilities.

As an IT Security Analyst II, you’ll be a key part of our Security Operations and Incident Response team, helping protect our systems, networks, and data from evolving cyber threats. You’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on with vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response, and security technologies while partnering across the organization to strengthen our overall security posture.

Your Recipe for Success

• Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field preferred
• CompTIA Security+ or higher certification required
• 4+ years of experience in IT security, risk management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS
• Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response
• Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and other security technologies
• Understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless
• Experience working with Windows, Linux, and server operating systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bonus points: CompTIA Cloud+, CC, SSCP, or CCSP certification
