Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a Security Analyst to join the Technology team in the United States. You will administer and maintain IT security systems, participate in auditing and reporting on systems and applications, and support the CISO in building an IT security assurance program.

You’ll monitor infrastructure, manage the SIEM, conduct phishing training, review vulnerabilities, and document security controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience implementing and managing Microsoft.
• Experience managing a SIEM solution.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience providing end users training on security best practices.
• Understanding ISO27001 and information security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and support internal and external infrastructure systems, liaising with colleagues as needed.
• Manage SIEM solution, creation of dashboards and alerts; review security events.
• Manage Security Awareness solution and phishing exercises; train users on best practices and provide remediation training for users who fail phishing tests.
• Review vulnerability management tool findings and work with IT support to remediate issues.
• Support the Chief Information Security Officer in developing an IT security assurance program.
• Develop general and detailed documentation describing security controls, system specifications, and operating instructions.
• Help staff with use of the security system software, providing training where needed.

What’s the role?

The Security Analyst is an integral part of the Gen II Technology team. The Security Analyst is responsible for the administration and maintenance of IT security systems. Job responsibilities will also include auditing and reporting of systems and applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage SIEM solution, creation of dashboards and alerts. Review security events and elevate to security and Infrastructure teams as needed.
• Manage Security Awareness solution and phishing exercises, train users on best practices and provide remediation training for users who fail phishing tests.
• Review Vulnerability Management Tool findings and work with IT support to remediate issues

Technical Profile

Required Knowledge And Experience

• Able to demonstrate an understanding of ISO27001 and information security best practices (Identity and Access management, Incident Management, etc.)
• Experience preparing project documentation and managing projects through to completion

• CompTIA+ Security or equivalent certification

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.

Work Arrangement
