Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a Security Analyst to monitor and support internal infrastructure, manage SIEM dashboards, and drive security awareness through phishing tests. The role collaborates with IT and security teams to improve controls and incident response.

The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with office presence required 1–4 days per week in the United States, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package and discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience implementing and managing Microsoft

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and support internal infrastructure systems (Incident & Problem Management).
• Manage SIEM solution, dashboards and alerts; escalate security events as needed.
• Manage Security Awareness program and phishing exercises; train users on best practices.
• Review Vulnerability Management findings and assist remediation with IT support.
• Assist in developing an IT security assurance program with the CIO.
• Create and maintain security documentation and operating procedures.
• Provide training and guidance on security system usage to staff.

The Security Analyst is an integral part of the Gen II Technology team. The Security Analyst is responsible for the administration and maintenance of IT security systems. Job responsibilities will also include auditing and reporting of systems and applications.

What you’ll be doing

• Actively monitor and support internal and external infrastructure systems (Incident & Problem Management), liaising with colleagues as needed
• Manage SIEM solution, creation of dashboards and alerts. Review security events and elevate to security and Infrastructure teams as needed.
• Manage Security Awareness solution and phishing exercises, train users on best practices and provide remediation training for users who fail phishing tests.
• Review Vulnerability Management Tool findings and work with IT support to remediate issues
• Support the Chief Information Security Officer in developing an IT security assurance program
• Develop general and detailed documentation describing security controls, system specifications, and operating instructions

Technical Profile

Required Knowledge and Experience

• 2+ years’ experience implementing and managing Microsoft
• Automation tools and applications
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience managing a SIEM solution
• Experience providing end users training on security best practices
• Able to demonstrate an understanding of ISO27001 and information security best practices (Identity and Access management, Incident Management, etc.)
• Experience preparing project documentation and managing projects through to completion

Desirable Knowledge and Experience

• CompTIA+ Security or equivalent certification
• Endpoint management solutions
• Virus protection & other prevention solutions
• Interest in obtaining CISSP or equivalent certification

Other

• Participate in out-of-hour support coverage

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.

Work Arrangement
