Grant Thornton is seeking an IT Risk Senior Associate to grow within the Risk, Compliance & Controls Practice in Charlotte, NC. You will help clients understand IT-related business risks and assist in addressing risk through proactive and responsive IT risk management, controls assessment, and reporting.

Your day-to-day includes executing and reporting on IT internal audits, control design and operating effectiveness tests, and supporting SOX compliance while collaborating with advisory teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a professional services firm or internal audit.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, CPA preferred.
• Understanding of IT risk management and cybersecurity standards (COBIT, NIST CSF).
• Experience assessing IT general controls and IT controls for SOX/compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards) is a plus.
• Strong IT, analytical and project management skills.

• Participate in client engagements from start to finish, focusing on IT internal audit and control assessments.
• Understand clients' industry, objectives, and IT landscape.
• Test IT control design and operating effectiveness per scope and risk factors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver services per project plans.
• Assist in reporting and communicating results to clients and leadership.
• Travel as needed.
