Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, IT, MIS or related disciplines.
• CISA certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of public accounting experience delivering controls-based IT general controls for audits.
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple client engagements, including scoping, scheduling, quality reviews and budgeting.
• Communicate clearly with clients about engagement expectations and risk.
• Plan, execute and complete IT controls engagements supporting financial statement audits.
• Resolve audit-related issues with clients and audit teams.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members and provide feedback.
• Represent Grant Thornton at recruiting and networking events.
