Grant Thornton LLP is seeking an IT Risk Senior Associate in Chicago to help clients understand and address IT risk and internal controls. You’ll co-create risk-based solutions, perform IT control design and testing, and report findings as part of the Risk, Compliance & Controls Practice.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams across Advisory, Audit and Tax services, travel as needed, and contribute to project delivery with strong analytical and communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a professional services firm or internal audit.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, CPA licenses preferred.
• Understanding of IT risk management and cybersecurity standards (COBIT, NIST CSF).
• Experience assessing IT controls in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards).
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in client engagements delivering IT internal audit, IT internal control assessments, and SOX testing.
• Understand clients’ industry, objectives, and IT controls.
• Execute IT control design and operating effectiveness tests.
• Provide analytical input to improve project execution and client solutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Advisory and other Grant Thornton service lines.
• Meet or exceed defined performance metrics.
