Job summary

George Mason University seeks a Manager of IT Relationship Management to lead day-to-day enterprise stakeholder engagement across ITS. You will supervise a team of IT Relationship Analysts serving as trusted liaisons to the university community.

The role requires managing engagement activities, documenting business needs, and driving continuous improvement of enterprise technology services in a complex higher-education environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Progressively responsible experience in stakeholder engagement and IT service delivery.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects or programs involving cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of enterprise relationship management services across ITS.
• Supervise IT Relationship Analysts as primary contacts for colleges, schools, departments, and administrative units.
• Oversee engagement activities including listening sessions, advisory groups, and governance meetings.
• Document business requirements, feedback, and service issues; route to ITS service owners.
• Foster collaboration and trust between ITS and the university community; improve service experiences.
• Support reporting, dashboards, and analytics measuring engagement, adoption, and satisfaction.
