Qualifications

The Job!

You will take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle for IT positions, from identifying and engaging qualified technical professionals through to successful placement. This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who enjoys sourcing, screening, relationship building, and finding creative ways to connect with hard-to-find technology talent.

You will:

• Source and identify qualified IT professionals through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, direct outreach, and other creative sourcing strategies.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements, team needs, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Conduct detailed candidate screening and interviews, assessing technical experience, communication skills and career goals.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of IT professionals across a variety of technical disciplines.
• Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and creating a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through offer and placement.

What you bring to the job

You will come with a strong understanding of technical recruitment and the confidence to engage with both candidates and hiring stakeholders.

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of professional recruiting experience, with a strong focus on IT or technical recruitment, within an Agency
• LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other professional sourcing platforms
• Strong familiarity with online sourcing and recruiting tools
• Confident and professional when speaking with technical candidates and business stakeholders
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently
