Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an IT QA Manager to lead the software testing function, including an offshore team and SOW resources. The role focuses on maturing QA practices, expanding testing coverage, and driving automation in a largely manual environment.

You will shape the QA roadmap, collaborate with process owners and developers, and ensure risk-based validation across ERP/SaaS platforms in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Proven IT QA Manager, Test Manager, or QA Lead with direct leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational change within a QA function, from proposal through adoption.
• Track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders and resolving conflict through partnership rather than escalation.
• Experience managing offshore QA teams, managed service providers, and SOW-based resources.
• Strong hands-on foundation in software testing and the SDLC across enterprise applications such as ERP and SaaS platforms.
• Experience building QA strategy, roadmaps, and budget or business cases for leadership.
• Self-directed, with a proactive approach to communication and follow-through.
• Experience in a regulated environment with validated systems and risk-based validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT QA and software testing function, including an offshore managed services team and SOW-based project resources.
• Own testing policies, standards, and best practices for test planning, test case design, execution, defect management, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.
• Partner with process owners, project managers, developers, and business analysts to improve testing practices through collaboration, training, and clear communication.
• Plan and lead organizational change: build stakeholder support, train teams, and drive adoption of new testing processes and tools at a pace the organization can absorb.
• Assess the full IT application portfolio, prioritize testing coverage by risk, and expand QA support beyond its current scope.
• Build the QA roadmap and annual budget requests, including tooling, staffing, and vendor investments.
• Evaluate and standardize test automation and test management tools across the enterprise.
• Guide teams on validation requirements and risk-based assurance approaches for regulated systems.
• Oversee testing for ERP and SaaS application implementations and upgrades.
