Job summary

SoftEdge is looking for an experienced Project Manager in Portland, OR to drive technology transformation, integration, and M&A initiatives within the utilities sector.

You will lead cross-functional teams in Agile or hybrid delivery environments, manage schedules and risks, and coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure on-time, within-budget results. Familiarity with CIS and customer-facing platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Project Management experience managing technology, transformation, integration, or business initiatives.
• Experience in utilities, energy, or a complex regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of technology, business transformation, and integration projects across the utilities organization.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, IT, operations, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Support M&A and business integration initiatives, including application integration, system consolidation, data migration, and transition planning.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to manage requirements and delivery timelines.
• Track project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as needed using Jira/Asana.
• Support initiatives involving customer-facing utility systems such as CIS, billing, CRM, customer portals, metering, data platforms, and related integrations.
• Coordinate testing and implementation activities including SIT, UAT, defect management, cutover planning, go-live readiness, production stabilization.
• Facilitate project governance meetings and provide clear communication to sponsors and leadership.
• Manage third-party vendors and system integration partners to align with deliverables and timelines.
• Maintain project documentation, decisions, action items, and governance artifacts.
• Identify delivery risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Drive resolution of cross-functional issues to maintain momentum.
