Job summary

Notus Services is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT projects for Utility/Energy clients in the United States. You will own scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality, acting as the main client contact and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within scope.

The role requires strong leadership, client-facing skills, and a track record of managing large, distributed teams using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in project/program management.
• Experience with Utility/Energy clients or Utility domain projects.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience leading large and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of project planning, estimation, budgeting, resource management, RAID, and governance.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum / Waterfall / Hybrid methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong experience in handling escalations and managing senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT projects for Utility/Energy clients from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, quality, and overall delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Utility clients and business stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams comprising functional consultants, developers, testers, architects, infrastructure, and business analysts.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders to understand requirements, priorities, project milestones, and delivery expectations.
• Manage project plans, RAID logs, resource allocation, budgets, and governance processes.
• Conduct Steering Committee / Project Review meetings and provide status reports to senior management.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Coordinate UAT, deployment, release management, production go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners where required.
• Drive Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies depending on the engagement.
• Support presales, estimation, proposal development, transition, and account growth activities when required.
• Ensure adherence to organizational delivery, security, compliance, and governance standards.
