Job summary

Genworth’s CareScout unit seeks an IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional change initiatives. You’ll manage projects across IT and business units, driving value for policyholders through structured methodologies and stakeholder collaboration.

With at least five years of IT project management experience, you’ll coordinate plans, manage scope, and communicate progress to senior leaders, ensuring timely delivery and measurable benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Military experience.
• Minimum of 5 years IT project management experience.
• Experience leading customer-focused projects across organizational boundaries.
• Excellent planning, organizational and execution skills.
• Strong communication—oral, written, interpersonal and presentation.
• Ability to gather, document and develop business scope with stakeholders.
• Results oriented with multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross functional project teams through complex projects using PMI, Agile/LEAN, and SDLC.
• Motivate and direct teams to research and quantify business opportunities and develop formal recommendations.
• Apply PM tools to manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, communication, resources and suppliers.
• Coordinate plans for large cross-functional projects with multiple work-streams.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and validate assumptions with stakeholders.
• Prepare written and oral updates for senior management and business leaders.
