Job summary

Stanford University is seeking an IT Project Manager 2 to lead medium and large technology projects across enterprise apps, data analytics, and information security. This is a two-year fixed-term, hybrid-eligible role requiring on-site presence at the Stanford Redwood City campus at least 2 days per week.

You will manage project lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional teams, and partner with sponsors, ensuring delivery within scope and budget while applying best practices and change management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Five years of related project management experience with large/complex programs.
• Strong written and oral communication across diverse audiences.
• Ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full project management lifecycle from initiation to closing.
• Lead multiple disciplines; manage resources, schedule, and budget.
• Facilitate discussions and negotiations to drive consensus.
• Develop and execute change management and communication plans.
• Manage university-wide impact with risk-focused oversight.
