Job summary

System One is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives across cloud, analytics, and infrastructure in a large financial services environment. The role requires coordinating planning, testing, and delivery, with strong stakeholder communication and risk management.

Onsite, direct-hire position with responsibilities spanning planning through implementation, reporting, and governance. Bachelor's degree required; PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT project management experience on complex technology initiatives.
• Strong planning, scheduling, tracking, and delivery management skills.
• Experience with cloud, analytics platforms, and infrastructure projects.
• Familiar with AWS and coordinating with technical teams.
• Solid SDLC and technology implementation understanding.
• Proficiency with MS Project or similar tools.
• Experience identifying and managing risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation.
• Ability to guide cross-functional project teams across technical and business workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder management, reporting, meeting facilitation, and negotiation.
• Experience with established PM methodologies and AI-enabled workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on IT project management experience, including complex technology initiatives.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, tracking, and delivery management skills.
• Experience managing projects involving cloud, analytics platforms, infrastructure, or related enterprise technologies.
• Working knowledge of AWS/cloud environments and ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and technology implementation processes.
• Proficiency with project planning and management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar platforms.
• Experience identifying and managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation plans.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including reporting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, and issue resolution.
• Experience with established project management methodologies and practices.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-enabled workflows, including tools used to generate or work with data.
• Financial services experience is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Optional: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
