Job summary

MasterApp Labs LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an IT Project Manager on a contract basis. The role blends onsite and remote work (hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 remote) and requires strong project leadership, governance adherence, and excellent stakeholder communication.

You will manage medium to large projects, develop and maintain project plans, use Atlassian tools to track milestones, and coordinate with CSB-IT staff and contracted resources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• 2+ years managing large, complex multi-year projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Intermediate knowledge Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce technology.
• PMBOK project management practices knowledge.
• Agile Project Management and IT governance experience.
• PMP and Agile/Scrum certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large projects.
• Establish positive relationships with CSB-IT staff, other county/agency staff, and contracted resources.
• Create, review and maintain project management plans, schedules, meeting agendas and minutes, risk/issue logs and lessons learned at a minimum.
• Manage projects according to the approved Governance policies and procedures.
• Utilize the Atlassian tool suite to track milestones, tasks, and deliverables against the baseline, addressing variances and reporting actions to the PMO Manager.
• Schedule, prepare for and facilitate project meetings.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders, elevate and address issues timely.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain project artifacts per the CSB document management strategy.
• Support team productivity and portfolio maintenance; update Governance policies as needed.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large projects;
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with CSB-IT staff, other county/agency staff, and/or contracted resources;
• Create, review and maintain project management plans, schedules, meeting agendas and minutes, risk/issue logs and lessons learned at a minimum;
• Manage projects according to the approved Governance policies and procedures;
• Utilize the Atlassian tool suite to track milestones, tasks, and deliverables against the baseline, taking action to address any variance, and reporting variances and corrective actions to the PMO Manager;
• Schedule, prepare for and facilitate project meetings;
• Communicate project status to stakeholders, elevate and/or address issues in a timely manner;
• Adhere to policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs);
• Maintain project artifacts according to the CSB document management strategy;
• Support a team atmosphere to promote team productivity;
• Support project portfolio maintenance as needed; updated Governance manual policies procedures as assigned;
• Work with PMO Manager to establish performance expectations;
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience
• 2+ years of experience in managing large, complex multi-year projects;
• Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft products such as Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio;
• Intermediate knowledge Atlassian Tool Suite;
• Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce technology;
• Thorough knowledge and experience of PMBOK project management practices including cost management, benefit analysis, risk management, resource management and change control;
• Thorough knowledge and experience of Agile Project Management and IT governance methodologies, tools and approaches to successful project implementations;
• Ability to lead, motivate, encourage and influence others to perform;
• Ability to analyze, produce solutions and solve project issues;
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across business groups;
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
• Business Knowledge of IV-D and Child Support Enforcement preferred;
• Experience in state government preferred;
• PMP preferred;
• Agile Certifications preferred;
• Scrum Master Certification preferred.
