Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian seeks an IT Project Leader for the Central Laboratory to drive the full lifecycle of information systems projects supporting pre- and post-analytical workflows. The role emphasizes leadership, data reporting, and collaboration with laboratory leadership to ensure successful implementations.

You will develop project plans, validate systems, manage testing, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Master's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• 2 years IT Project Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day project leadership for the Central Laboratory IT initiatives.
• Coordinate validation and testing of information systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain project plans with milestones and risk logs.
• Communicate progress to laboratory leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of IT solutions for pre/post analytical workflows.
• Support production systems and enable 24x7 operations when needed.
