Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an IT Project Leader for the Central Laboratory to drive full lifecycle information systems projects supporting pre/post analytical and referral testing. You will develop project plans, validate systems, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery and robust reporting.

You will work closely with laboratory leadership, manage timelines, and provide training on new workflows in a day‑shift, on‑site role at our NewYork‑Presbyterian

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years of previous work-related experience.
• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• 2 years IT Project Management experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC essential.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Systems desirable.
• Tableau experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Epic interfaces beneficial.
• Hematology and Chemistry Laboratory familiarity advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead full implementation life cycle for information systems in the Central Laboratory.
• Coordinate technical activities with laboratory leadership for efficient operation.
• Develop and maintain project plans; validate systems and schedules.
• Prepare and present milestones, issue resolutions, and progress updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement policies.
• Provide user support and training on new systems and workflows.
• Ensure data quality, reporting, and analytics across lab operations.
