Job summary

Beacon Technologies, Inc. is seeking an IT Procurement Analyst to locate, contract, and purchase IT sources of supply for client partners. The role conducts RFPs, negotiations, and coordinates Legal and IS Security Reviews.

The ideal candidate will support IT procurement workflows across the supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, contract administration, and governance activities. A preference for candidates in the Madison area who can work hybrid from the headquarters is stated.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT-related procurement or purchasing activities is strongly preferred.
• Prior IT procurement experience and familiarity with supplier lifecycle workflows is desirable.
• Ability to conduct RFPs, negotiations, and coordinate Legal and IS Security Reviews.

Job description

Beacon Technologies is seeking an IT Procurement Analyst for our client partner. This role locates, contracts and purchases capable sources of supply of goods and/or services on behalf of the company. Applies strategic sourcing skills to mitigate inherent supply chain risks, including data risks, to successfully contract with a third party. Conducts RFPs, negotiations, and coordinates applicable Legal and IS Security Reviews.

• This role will support purchasing and procurement activities within the IT category. Prior experience supporting IT-related procurement or purchasing activities is strongly preferred.
• The majority of the work will involve facilitating and executing standard departmental workflows throughout the supplier lifecycle, including purchasing, supplier onboarding, contract administration, and governance-related activities. Experience with systems such as ZIP and Docusign would be beneficial.
• While the role is eligible for remote work, we have a preference for candidates located in the Madison area who can regularly work from our client's headquarters and align with their hybrid work model.
