Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Project Manager for Power Software & Controls to lead and deliver complex software-enabled projects. You will define scope, craft plans, manage budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include leading project teams, mitigating risks, reporting progress to senior management, and ensuring client satisfaction through successful handovers and documentation. Domestic and international travel are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management within a software development environment.
• 7+ years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
• Strong leadership, planning and risk management skills.
• Other relevant project management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the project team, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance.
• Management of projects from inception to on-site commissioning and client hand over.
• Define the scope of projects in collaboration with senior management.
• Create a detailed work plan identifying activities to complete projects.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to changing needs.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects on multiple projects.
• Allocate resources and assign responsibilities for software development.
• Lead the team with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ensure projects meet budgets and maintain tracking docs.
