Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager of IT PMO to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT portfolio projects in Bethesda, MD. You will align projects with business objectives and manage resources, risks, and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires guiding cross-functional teams, delivering end-to-end solutions, and reporting on progress and ROI to senior leadership. A strong background in PMO governance and hospitality industry experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of related experience exceeding requirements
• At least 2 years in a leadership role supervising PM professionals
• At least 6 years developing and delivering PM programs in large-scale projects
• Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience is preferred (3-5 years)

Responsibilities

• Plans, executes, and delivers multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and adherence to time, cost, and quality constraints
• Develops and maintains documentation including project decks, plans, schedules, status reports, risk registers, and lessons learned
• Facilitates project communication across levels including status meetings, steering committees, and executive briefings
• Serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating requirements
• Provides leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams
• Leads end-to-end development of business and technical solutions, including design, testing, and maintenance
• Assesses and monitors risks; develops contingency plans
• Manages project budgets and resource allocation, tracking expenditures
• Establishes and tracks project KPIs, reporting on health, progress, ROI
