Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks a senior Project Execution leader to guide IT and automation initiatives for the Fill & Finished Expansions. This role will lead senior PMs and technical staff, align local work with global standards, and ensure successful delivery within scope, timelines, and budgets.

The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, vendor management, and transition to operations, while mentoring leaders and shaping global IT/automation strategy with local insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in directly related field required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years experience in IT & Automation.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of proven Project Management experience in Manufacturing, Engineering & Production.

Responsibilities

• Indirect lead a team of senior project managers, automation engineers and IT/OT experts.
• Oversee IT & Automation systems implementation with global standards and local requirements.
• Collaborate with Expansion Site Lead to ensure cross-functional integration and execution.
• Ensure clear communication with stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment.
• Drive risk management and problem-solving efforts, addressing challenges proactively.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers and external partners.
• Monitor program progress and provide strategic direction to ensure milestones are met.
• Facilitate the seamless transition from project execution to operational readiness.
• Provide oversight for development, coaching, performance management, recruitment and employee relations.
• Influence and contribute to global IT & automation strategy with local insights.
• Develop, manage and track the site annual IT/OT budget.
