Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Clayton, NC is seeking an Associate IT/OT Project Director-DPM US CL2 to lead a senior team delivering IT and Automation solutions for FFEx expansions. You will align programs with global standards, manage high-level scope, resources and budgets, and drive cross-functional execution with local and global teams.

Role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and mentoring capabilities to ensure project success and smooth transition to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in directly related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of ten years experience in IT &/or Automation.
• Minimum of seven years of proven Project Management experience in Manufacturing, Engineering &/or Production.
• Experience in indirect leading technical SMEs.
• Comprehensive understanding of program management methodologies, tools and techniques.
• PM training or certifications preferred (PMBOK/PRINCE2).

Responsibilities

• Indirect lead a team of senior project managers, automation engineers and IT/OT experts.
• Oversee IT & Automation systems with global standards and local requirements; manage scope, timelines, resources and budgets.
• Collaborate with Expansion Site Lead to ensure cross-functional integration and execution.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders across global and local leadership.
• Drive risk management and proactive problem-solving; address challenges.
• Build relationships with vendors and external partners for smooth execution.
• Monitor progress and provide strategic direction to meet milestones and standards.
• Ensure seamless transition from project execution to operations readiness.
