Job summary

New York Technology Partners seeks a Project Manager in the utilities/energy sector to lead a program involving IT and OT systems. The role combines on-site leadership with remote support for a 60+ system rollout, ensuring alignment with client objectives and contractual obligations.

The candidate will have extensive IT/OT experience, strong budgeting and forecasting skills, and excellent communication. PMP preferred and willing to travel within the client territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in IT or OT Services Support with experience in developing custom solutions and customer satisfaction.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role managing diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience creating and managing team budgets and financial forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Strategically guide the program, tracking schedules to ensure timely delivery within budget and meeting customer standards and contractual obligations.
• Lead, mentor, and manage diverse IT and OT professionals, fostering professionalism, innovation, and excellence.
• Coordinate with customer Program Management, finance, and procurement to ensure effective program support and customer satisfaction.
• Direct the technical strategy and establish best IT/OT service practices.
• Encourage continuous learning and stay ahead of industry trends and new technologies.
• Maintain clear communication across teams and adapt to changing business needs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide weekly reports on the system implementations.
• Travel within client territory and maintain reliable transportation.
