JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Project Manager serving in a programmatic leadership role for
a mission critical utility facility with extensive IT and OT system
requirements. This pivotal role involves managing dynamic teams
supporting customers both on-site and remotely. The Project Manager will
oversee the entire program and will provide customer support from
concept, through implementation and transition to go-live and for
ongoing support, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
The candidate will have extensive experience in IT and OT on-premises
systems and services, and a solid track record in financial management
including budgeting and forecasting. Candidates must have professional
certifications in project management (please state on resume).
Candidates shall have excellent communication skills and a passion for
customer networking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- - Strategically guide the program, tracking schedules to ensure timely
delivery within budget and meeting customer standards and
contractual obligations.
- - Lead, mentor, and manage diverse managed team of IT and OT
professionals, fostering an environment of professionalism,
innovation, and excellence.
- - Partner with customer Program Management, finance, and Customer’s
contract and procurement management to ensure effective program
support, with a focus on customer satisfaction and service
integrity.
- - Direct the technical strategy, and establish best IT/OT Service
practices.
- - Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement, keeping
ahead of industry trends and integrating new technologies and
methodologies as appropriate.
- - Maintain clear communication across all teams and departments,
ensuring strategic alignment with broader company goals and
priorities.
- - Display adaptability by taking on additional responsibilities as
needed, proactively responding to changing business and management
demands.
- - Respond to customer inquiries and related correspondence. Provide
input to schedulers, procurement and contracts for look-ahead
coordination, and manage staffing to ensure customer satisfaction
and schedule compliance
- - The managed program will involve the implementation of 60+ systems
so multi-tasking will be required.
- - The customer requires weekly reports and in-depth knowledge on any
of the multitude of systems being implemented.
- - Will travel within Client’s territory and must have reliable
transportation.
- - Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- - Responsible for maintenance and fees of the transportation vehicle.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- - Preferred certifications include Project Management Professional
(PMP),
- - Experience in working with OT and IT based technologies for a large
electric utility.
- - Knowledge of programmatic processes such as ITIL, SPI, and EVM.
- - Experience in support of the Utility Industry
- - Working knowledge of how schedules work with ability to interpret
and use Gantt chart-based data from such tools as P6 and MS Project.
- - Ability to track multiple tasks over long periods of time ensuring
customer change management and business rhythms are not disrupted.
- - Proficient in managing hybrid teams with Customer, TRC and
contracted personnel.
- - Demonstrated success in delivering complex managed services on time
and within budget.
- - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability
to working alongside other program management to transform business
requirements into high-quality service solutions.
- - Outstanding leadership and team-building capabilities, skilled at
motivating and guiding teams through complex customer environments
and business cycles.
- - High degree of adaptability, capable of shifting focus to meet
evolving business and management needs.
- - Strategic and analytical thinker with the capacity to make
data-driven decisions and address challenges efficiently.
- - Capable of maintaining a high energy level to handle a dynamic,
fast-paced workload
- - Excellent organizational skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related
field. Master’s degree preferred.
- - Minimum of 10 years in IT or OT Services Support, with extensive
experience in developing custom solutions and providing high level
customer satisfaction. At least 5 years in a leadership role
managing diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
- - Experienced in creating and managing team budgets and financial
forecasting
