Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an IT/OT Convergence Expert to lead the integration of electrical distribution and building communication networks in next‑generation buildings. You will drive strategic initiatives, develop architectures, and create technical content for internal and external stakeholders, reporting to the Global Cluster Leader.

The role requires deep expertise across enterprise networking, PoE, FMPS, SPE, edge computing, and smart buildings, with a strong track record in engaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering, IT, telecommunications, network engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience across listed domains.
• Experience with consultants, system integrators, contractors, technology providers, and building owners.
• Experience influencing technical standards, reference architectures, or industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic IT/OT convergence initiatives in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Develop next-generation building architectures integrating electrical distribution and networks.
• Establish technical leadership in PoE, FMPS, SPE, smart building networks, and edge-enabled applications.
• Create high-value technical content (reference architectures, guides, white papers) and deliver customer workshops.
• Engage with customers and partners to identify emerging market needs and translate them into solutions.
• Collaborate with internal units to identify opportunities for integrating communication technologies into Schneider Electric’s portfolio.
• Monitor evolving standards, technologies, and market trends in digital buildings and IT/OT convergence.
