Job summary

ISG in Austin, TX seeks an IT Order Management Leader on a 1099 contract to drive end-to-end order management from expense requests to closure. You will own service performance, automate manual steps, and simplify workflows to reduce cycle times while maintaining audit trails.

You will lead SAP shopping carts, POs, invoicing and fulfillment, coordinating with procurement, finance and IT teams. A bachelor’s degree and strong process/automation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT order management, procurement operations or procure-to-pay for enterprise clients.
• Experience with SAP purchasing workflows including carts, POs, goods receipts and invoice status tracking.
• Strong understanding of expense approvals, account assignments, PO/invoice reconciliation and order closure controls.
• Ability to manage high transaction volumes and coordinate across procurement, finance, suppliers and IT stakeholders.
• Leadership in process improvement, automation delivery and benefits measurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, information technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT order management operations, allocate work, plan capacity, monitor queues and coach the team.
• Validate expense requests, ensure proper approvals and supporting documents.
• Oversee SAP shopping carts, PO creation and release, and track approvals.
• Coordinate PO release, supplier details and order references; adjust as needed.
• Drive fulfillment by tracking delivery dates and addressing delays with stakeholders.
• Track invoices from receipt to payment status and resolve mismatches.
• Own automation roadmap and identify repetitive activities for automation.
• Ensure closure discipline with proper fulfillment and financial checks.
