ISG, a technology services leader, is seeking an IT Order Management Leader (1099 Contractor) in Austin, TX (Texas preferred). The role oversees end-to-end order management, from expense requests to PO issuance, fulfillment, and invoice tracking, with a focus on automation and process optimization.

Competenze

• Lead IT order management, procurement operations or procure-to-pay delivery for an enterprise client with team responsibility.
• Experience with SAP purchasing workflows including shopping carts, requisitions, POs, goods receipts or service entries and invoice status tracking.
• Strong understanding of expense approvals, account assignments, PO/invoice reconciliation and order closure controls.
• Ability to manage high transaction volumes, prioritize aging or critical orders and resolve cross-functional dependencies across procurement, finance, suppliers and IT stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead process improvement and automation delivery, including process mapping, root cause analysis, requirements, UAT and benefits measurement.

• Lead daily IT order management operations: allocate work, plan capacity, monitor queues and coach the team.
• Validate business justification, supporting documents, budget codes and approvals for expense requests; resolve missing information with requestors and approvers.
• Oversee SAP shopping carts: ensure accurate item descriptions, quantities, pricing, account assignments and references; track approvals and fix issues.
• Manage purchase orders: ensure timely creation and release against approved requirements; verify supplier details and terms; coordinate amendments or cancellations.
• Drive fulfillment: track supplier acknowledgments, delivery dates and outstanding items; resolve delays or discrepancies with suppliers and IT/business teams.
• Confirm receipt: ensure goods receipts or service entries are recorded and reconcile open quantities.
• Track invoices: monitor receipt through payment status; resolve PO, receipt, price or quantity mismatches and missing docs.
• Own automation roadmap: identify repetitive tasks, prioritize by impact and partner with technology teams to deliver automations.
• Lead governance: run operational reviews, publish dashboards and communicate risks with owners and recovery dates.
