Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a highly skilled IT operations professional to support the Defense Intelligence Agency in a 24/7 capacity. You will perform Tier 2 incident analysis, troubleshooting, and hands-on resolution, coordinating with Tier 3 for advanced issues.

The role requires active involvement in maintenance, patching, and حافظ operations across multiple security domains, with a strong emphasis on security and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Current Top Secret SCI clearance with poly before start.
• DOD 8140 Certification (Security+) required.
• Hands-on 4+ years integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware/software.
• Experience with Windows Server and RHEL.
• Experience with AD/GPO, VMware, NetApp, and storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day IT operations for the DIA customer.
• Participate in 24/7 operations as a key team member.
• Provide Tier 2 incident analysis, troubleshooting, break/fix, and hands-on labor.
• Coordinate with Tier 3 resources for advanced troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled/ad hoc maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
• Provide patch management across workstations, servers, networks, and security domains.
• Coordinate on Plan of Action and Milestones.
• Monitor capacity, performance, and service-level metrics.
• Participate in Continual Service Improvement by researching technologies and benefits.
• Use lab facilities to resolve incidents and test new designs.
• Develop cases/scripts for Beta and Acceptance testing.
• Support implementation/transfer via Blue/Green fielding.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams, Tier 3, and Government stakeholders.
• Maintain SOPs and knowledge-base artifacts with technical writers.
• Assist with CDRL documentation, reports, and data.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions
• Applicable vendor, professional, or OEM-specific certification
• Experience with Windows Server
