Job summary

LHH in Chicago is seeking a full-time IT Operations Administrator to support daily administration, security, and end users of a hybrid Microsoft 365 environment and key SaaS applications.

This hands-on role requires independent work in a small IT team, collaboration with leadership and external providers, and offers growth in Microsoft 365, networking, and cybersecurity.

Ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of support experience and familiarity with Entra ID, CA, MFA, and Azure backups.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of help desk or end-user support experience.
• 1+ year administering Microsoft 365 including Entra ID, CA, and MFA.
• 1+ year cloud server administration, monitoring, and backups.
• Basic knowledge of mobile devices, printers, and office tech.

Responsibilities

• Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding, group memberships, and license assignments.
• Assist with Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity security controls.
• Monitor security, vulnerability, and patching reports and remediate issues.
• Administer and support SaaS platforms.
• Coordinate updates, patching, and training.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Monitor Azure environment and backups.
• Verify weekly patching and backup completion.
• Escalate complex infrastructure issues to the IT Manager or MSP.
