Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time IT Operations Specialist to join our Regional Office in Boise, Idaho. You will analyze systems, triage Tier 1/2 requests, test fixes, document resolutions, and support Microsoft technologies across the enterprise.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a Bachelor’s preferred, and IT certifications (A+, Network+, MCP). Expect 2+ years in a corporate help desk and 1+ year desktop support, plus SharePoint and Active Directory familiarity.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a corporate help desk environment preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a desktop support position, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network +, and Microsoft MCP certifications.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles (e.g., TCP/IP protocols), Active Directory, and Exchange.
  • General knowledge of electronics, PC architecture, PC operating systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Remote Desktop Management (RDP); PC troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance; and printer troubleshooting.
  • Experience with current Windows operating systems.
  • Extensive application support experience of current Microsoft Office family of products.
  • Familiarity or experience with current Microsoft SharePoint family of products.
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities, including application error and system event logs review.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve Tier 1 and 2 IT requests via ticketing system.
  • Test fixes and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Document end-user data and resolution notes.
  • Configure, maintain, test, and document IT Operations applications.
  • Provide training on supported Microsoft technologies.
  • Follow SOPs and create/update documentation.
  • Travel as needed and support after-hours/weekends.

Centurion is proud to be a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and community mental health centers nationwide.We are currently seeking a full-time IT Operations Specialist to join our Regional Office located in Boise, Idaho.Essential Duties:• Applying system analysis techniques to resolve technical problems with computer hardware, software, mobile devices, and telecommunication systems• Triaging and resolving Tier 1 and 2 requests and developing an understanding of the tier escalation process• Effectively testing fixes to ensure issues have been adequately resolved• Performing post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problem resolution• Fully documenting all pertinent end user identification data, including name, department, and contact information, and ensuring that all resolution notes are entered appropriately• Configuring, maintaining, testing, and documenting IT Operations applications and knowledge base materials• Documenting and monitoring incident and work requests per departmental procedures• Solving complex problems independently or collaboratively with IT colleagues• Answering, evaluating, and prioritizing incoming requests for assistance• Fulfilling routine communication requirements, including system documentation and status reporting• Utilizing the ticketing system to document and manage client requests and issues• Providing training to end users as needed on any supported Microsoft technologies or contract-specific applications• Following and adhering to simple and complex instructions, including Standard Operating Procedures• Creating and updating procedural documentation• Reviewing and evaluating new technology and make recommendations for use within IT, Corporate, and the company as a whole• Maintaining a willingness and ability to travel• Maintaining flexibility for weekend and/or holiday work as needed• Other duties as assigned• High school diploma or GED equivalent required• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field preferred• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a corporate help desk environment preferred• Minimum of one (1) years of experience in a desktop support position, preferably within a corporate environment• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network +, and Microsoft MCP certifications• Basic understanding of networking principles (e.g., TCP/IP protocols), Active Directory, and Exchange• General knowledge of electronics, PC architecture, PC operating systems, and Microsoft Office• Demonstrated expertise in Remote Desktop Management (RDP); PC troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance; and printer troubleshooting• Experience with current Windows operating systems• Extensive application support experience of current Microsoft Office family of products• Familiarity or experience with current Microsoft SharePoint family of products• Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities, including application error and system event logs reviewWe offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...
