Job summary

AAC Inc. is seeking a versatile IT professional to manage and maintain our technology infrastructure, enterprise applications, network security, and IT operations.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, capable of independent work, and capable of supporting end users while ensuring reliability and security of critical systems. The role covers administration of Windows Server, VMware, NetApp storage, Fortinet security, Microsoft 365, and governance/compliance activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure operations.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience administering VMware virtualization environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience managing firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and enterprise networking (wired and wireless).
• Familiarity with endpoint security, monitoring systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Strong technical documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration: manage Windows Server environments including AD, DNS, DHCP, and GP.
• VMware ESXi hosts, virtual machines, storage, and VMware Tools administration.
• NetApp storage systems management and platform administration.
• Patch management, capacity planning, and lifecycle management for servers/workstations.
• Maintain backups and perform periodic restore testing.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and runbooks.
• Network Administration & Cybersecurity: Fortinet firewall/VPN, SSL certificates, and network config.
• Manage FortiSIEM for monitoring and centralized logs; keep Sophos/Proofpoint security in place.
• MS 365 & Identity: administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Entra ID, and user provisioning.
• IT Service Management & Compliance: participate in ISO/CMMC/CMMI related activities and audits.
• Company web presence: manage AAC web presence and coordinate with providers.
• Enterprise apps & business support: support VoIP, access control, WordPress, and vendor renewals.
