Job summary

AAC Inc. is seeking a Tier 3 IT professional to provide Microsoft-centric support and management. You will build, implement, and troubleshoot information systems within the Microsoft stack, including Azure cloud technologies, and work on security hardening and CIS benchmarks.

On-site support is required five days per week with occasional after-hours outage coverage. The role involves automating tasks with PowerShell and supporting federal security baselines for a government-related environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of IT experience including end-user systems and systems administration.
• Proficient with Microsoft technologies: AD, Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, Windows OS, M365, Teams.
• Experience with enterprise management tools like InTune and Endpoint Central.
• Automation experience with PowerShell and scripting.
• Experience administering Windows physical, virtual, and Azure environments.
• Knowledge of CIS Benchmarks and Windows security hardening.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a public trust clearance.

Job Description

Provide Tier 3 technical support for Microsoft systems. Build, implement, and troubleshoot information systems within the Microsoft technology stack, including Microsoft Azure cloud technologies. Monitor and respond to system problems, provide technical support on existing and emerging technologies, and plan and execute technology projects, tasks, and initiatives. Research and report on new technologies and their potential value to the organization.

Requires on-site support 5 days per week and occasional after-hours outage support.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems

Required ExperienceRequiredQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.3-5 years of relevant IT experience, including end-user systems and systems administration; at least 3 years must be specific to systems administration supporting Microsoft technologies.Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, the Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Teams.Comprehensive knowledge and experience with enterprise management tools such as Microsoft InTune, Microsoft SCCM, and ManageEngine Endpoint Central.Demonstrated experience automating administrative tasks and workflows using PowerShell and similar scripting/automation tools.Demonstrated systems administration experience in Windows physical, virtual, and Azure cloud environments.Working knowledge of CIS Benchmarks and Windows security hardening practices.Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.Must be a US citizen and must obtain an agency public trust suitability determination prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure and Windows Server certifications and other relevant industry certifications.


• Security-related certifications (e.g., Security+, GSEC, or similar).


• Experience supporting a nationwide mid-sized Federal agency enterprise.
