Job summary

AAC is seeking an experienced IT specialist for on-site support in Washington, DC. The role focuses on managing Azure/Active Directory, automating administrative tasks with PowerShell, and maintaining security and deployment infrastructure for a federal agency environment.

The candidate should have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently or in a team, and experience with Windows Server and Linux environments. A public trust determination is required before starting.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field and six years of IT experience or no degree and a minimum of ten years of relevant IT experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, Windows 10/11, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Microsoft 365, and Teams.
• Demonstrated experience automating administrative tasks and workflows using PowerShell and similar scripting/automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, implement, and troubleshoot information systems within the Microsoft technology stack, including Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
• Monitor and respond to system problems, provide technical support on existing and emerging technologies, and plan and execute technology projects, tasks, and initiatives.
• Research and report on new technologies and their potential value to the organization.
• Azure and Active Directory Management, including user accounts, group policies, permissions, and access controls.
• Maintain automation and CI/CD infrastructure; write, build and deploy scripts using PowerShell to improve efficiency.
• Provide hardware and software end-user support and diagnose issues related to Microsoft products.
