Job summary

OpenSesame is seeking a strong, organized IT leader who wants to take an existing helpdesk and sysadmin organization and elevate them to a proactive, process-driven internal service team.

You will own the IT project roadmap, drive onboarding/offboarding frameworks, and partner across compliance, engineering, and business teams to deliver measurable improvements.

This remote-first role emphasizes leadership, security-minded systems thinking, and the ability to align priorities with company goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building scalable IT operations.
• Ability to articulate a measured, data-driven roadmap.
• Experience in onboarding/offboarding automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the IT project roadmap and prioritization process.
• Lead cross-functional IT initiatives (e.g., migrations, security improvements, system rollouts).
• Own 2-3 vendor relationships and begin to quantify vendor evaluation needs.
• Collaborate and advocate for your vision for the project roadmap and priorities.
• Own the application authentication stance for the company.
