Job summary

Carlsmed is seeking an IT Coordinator to oversee the company's information technology systems, infrastructure, and services, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency of IT operations while driving technology-driven solutions.

The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, enforces HIPAA and FDA-related policies, leads IT projects on time and within budget, and maintains documentation and standards across IT service desks and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science.
• Familiar with Microsoft M365, Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, DNS, Network topology, and LAN infrastructure.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, help implement the company's IT strategy in alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
• Enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with HIPAA and FDA requirements.
• Under general supervision, manage and implement IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and facilitate smooth project execution.
• Work with contractors, support, and infrastructure engineers to resolve disruptions to business application services.
• Follow and contribute to documentation for procedural IT Service Desk and IT Operational tasks.
• Assist in the maintenance of IT documentation to enable consistent standards and operating procedures.
