Job summary

Clay Labs is scaling its IT function and seeks an IT Operations Engineer to own the systems, vendors, and data that underpin our growing tech stack. You will protect reliability and governance across MDM, CMDB, and SaaS tools, partnering with the Head of IT and Security.

You’ll implement change processes, maintain documentation, and drive automation using AI-enabled workflows, ensuring audits pass and our infrastructure scales with the company.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in IT with senior operations, systems or infrastructure roles.
• Experience operating IT systems at scale and growing ownership.
• MDM experience with Iru or Jamf Pro and scripting.
• Strong Okta admin experience and SOC 2 / ISO 27001 context.
• Excellent documentation and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Own MDM: Mac fleet in Iru, zero-touch enrollment, config profiles, and scripting.
• Own the CMDB, asset data, and the ITAM vendor relationship; keep data accurate.
• Own vendor management and renewals for SaaS and hardware agreements.
• Help maintain SOC 2 and ISO 27001 benchmarks; support audits.
• Administer and govern the SaaS stack: Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.
• Keep documentation current; develop runbooks and process docs.
• Partner on change management and IT projects with Head of IT.
