Job summary

Schwan’s is seeking a motivated IT Infrastructure Intern in Minnesota. You will support maintenance and enhancements of manufacturing IT systems, assist in configuring Windows Server environments, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with senior engineers on upgrade projects, apply best practices, and monitor performance metrics. Ideal candidates are CS students graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028 with a 3.0+ GPA, who thrive in teams and seek real-world experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in CS or related field with anticipated graduation Dec 2027 or May 2028; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, analysis, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with current and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work confidently as a self-starter and collaborate effectively in dynamic teams.
• Capability to build productive relationships with diverse business partners.

Responsibilities

• Support IT infrastructure maintenance and enhancement at Schwan’s manufacturing facilities.
• Assist in configuring and implementing Windows Server systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Contribute to initiatives ensuring stable and high-performance IT environments.
• Identify tools and processes to proactively resolve IT problems.
• Apply established procedures and best practices in infrastructure technology administration.
• Monitor system performance metrics and alerts for proactive management.
