Job summary

Notre Dame invites a motivated IT internship student to join our team at Schwan’s manufacturing facilities to support infrastructure maintenance and enhancements. You will gain hands-on experience configuring Windows Server systems and troubleshooting hardware/software issues under guidance from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or related field.
• Anticipated graduation December 2027 or May 2028.
• GPA of 3.0+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support IT infrastructure maintenance and enhancement at Schwan’s facilities.
• Assist in configuring and implementing Windows Server systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Contribute to initiatives ensuring stable and high-performance IT environments.
• Identify tools and processes to proactively resolve IT problems.
• Apply established procedures and best practices in infrastructure administration.
• Monitor system performance metrics and alerts for proactive management.
