National Gypsum is seeking a motivated IT Intern to join our IT Operations team in Charlotte, NC. This hands-on role spans service desk, networking, and cybersecurity, working with IT professionals to troubleshoot issues and support technology projects keeping the business running smoothly.

You will gain exposure to enterprise IT operations, participate in incident response activities, and contribute to documenting processes and user guides.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and maintaining network communication systems, including LAN/WAN and wireless infrastructure.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives such as vulnerability assessments, endpoint protection, and patch management.
• Document technical processes and create user guides for recurring issues and resolutions.
• Collaborate with IT staff on projects related to IT service management, systems upgrades, and security improvements.
• Participate in incident response activities under supervision, including root cause analysis and preventive action planning.
