Group O, Inc. is seeking an IT Intern to grow within our IT Infrastructure group in Milan, IL.

The internship offers exposure to helpdesk support, information security, and networking, with opportunities to gain practical IT operations experience. The ideal candidate is a college senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in IT-related fields, with the aim of exploring full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Document and track support tickets using the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining information security policies and controls.
• Set up, configure, and maintain networking components (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
• Collaborate with IT team on projects and participate in meetings and training.
