Job summary

ABB Inc. in Cary, NC, seeks an IT Operations & Enablement Lead to own the IT Business Systems team’s operational processes, governance, and budget. You will analyze user support data and drive delivery across five business areas as a builder-operator, not just a coordinator.

You will lead six functional areas, own the budget and intake governance, build effective training, and enable the team across ECC, S/4HANA, Vistex, Vertex, and TMS. Travel is under 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science engineering or related field (MBA/masters degree preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise business systems - SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA preferred, with exposure to Vistex, Vertex, SAP TMS, or comparable platforms.
• Substantial experience (5+ years) running operational governance in a matrixed environment across multiple business areas.
• You have managed or co-managed a team or project budget with variance analysis and forecasting.
• Demonstrated track record designing and delivering training programs in a business systems context.
• Skilled in AI-powered platform delivery with knowledge platforms or self-service tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational process of the IT Business Systems team including training, governance, planning, reporting, and budgeting.
• Analyze user support data to sharpen IT systems delivery across five business areas.
• Lead six interconnected functions defining how the team runs and serves its users.
• Manage business reviews, budgeting, intake governance, and end-user training.
• Develop internal team enablement across ECC, S/4HANA, Vistex, Vertex and TMS.
• Provide operational support to the team leader and support the AI knowledge platform.
