Job summary

Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds in New York, NY is seeking an IT Operations Support Analyst to schedule and monitor system jobs, perform updates, and document issues as they arise.

The role requires weekend work, attention to detail, security administration experience, and effective communication, with a bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, Business, or related field preferred.

You will collaborate with IT Development and external vendors to maintain production stability and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience with batch scheduling and calendar planning.
• Strong attention to detail; a high degree of accuracy is required.
• Experience with user security administration, setting up and terminating users, creating and applying security roles, custom security access, and familiarity with security concepts.
• Problem solving skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Very good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and monitors system batches daily, including weekends.
• Follows established timeframes, publishes monthly batch calendar, and adjusts for ad hoc requests.
• Updates system factor tables and security access.
• Supports operations of the applications and on-site/remote support.
• Monitors file transmissions and production processing issues.
• Documents test cases and results, including defect descriptions.
