Emprise Bank is seeking a Computer Operations Specialist to ensure our computer systems are effective and available. You will work closely with the technology team to maintain reliable operations and support users across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct file and system errors.
• Develop and maintain jobs within automated file-movement software.
• Perform data processing operations according to a business production schedule.
• Perform backup procedures to reduce the risk of data loss.
• Collaborate with Programmers, Systems and Business Analysts to coordinate testing environments and resolve system problems.
• Maintain and manage processing logs and run procedure manuals.
• Troubleshoot problems for users.
• Notify Programmers, Systems and Business Analysts personnel of system malfunctions.
• Monitor jobs controlled by an automated scheduling system to include building and editing jobs from the scheduler.
• Monitor and/or perform the running of system and application updates and notify appropriate personnel of exceptions (e.g., batch processing errors).
• Manually submit batch processing jobs.
• Run application performance management scans.
• Process phone requests.
• Provide support during business continuity exercises.
• Responsible for all system and network availability.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job.
