Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an IT Operations Center Analyst in Seattle to monitor complex network components in a 24x7 environment and manage uptime. From a centralized hub, you will detect issues related to bandwidth, server utilization, and critical infrastructure, triaging and escalating as needed.

You will drive outage resolution in high-pressure scenarios, collaborating with engineers and IT teams to isolate programs and implement rapid fixes. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or related field.
• 3+ years IT experience including desktop, NOC, asset or service desk.
• Experience in high-pressure major incident response and outage resolution.
• PowerShell and Python for automation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day issues related to computers, networks, applications, and critical infrastructure.

Job Description

The IT Operations Center (ITOC) Analyst will oversee complex network components and will be responsible for network monitoring and management in a 24x7 environment. From a centralized location, the ITOC Analyst will monitor for issues pertaining to usage of bandwidth, utilization of the server, uptime, and other crucial elements. If systems experience an outage, the ITOC Analyst will resolve issue by isolating programs and collaborating with engineers and team members to find quick and appropriate fixes. Essential Functions will include monitoring day-to-day issues related to computers, networks, applications, critical infrastructure, and info-security, perform triage and elevate issues to support teams, perform routine maintenance as needed, etc. The right candidate is reliable, proactive, and has strong communication skills.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a closely related field
• 3+ years of experience in IT that includes desktop, NOC, asset, and/or service desk experience, including experience troubleshooting in a complex IT environment
• Experience in high pressure major incident response, driving and coordinating outage resolution using Blackrock3 (or equivalent) methodologies.
• ServiceNow or other IT Service Management Software
• Windows, Unix/Linux server, VM experienceStrong PowerShell scripting and Python Development skills for automation and process improvement
