Job summary

West Valley Cleanup Alliance is seeking an IT Operations Administrator IV to manage Windows server environments and Office 365 services. The role emphasizes security, performance, and reliability across enterprise systems at the West Valley Demonstration Project site in Western New York.

The position requires a BA/BS in a technical field and at least six years of relevant experience, with strong Microsoft administration and expertise in AD, InTune, SCCM, and WSUS.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical degree.
• Combination of education and experience directly related to occupation.
• Minimum of six years’ experience in IT operations.
• Strong Microsoft Administration background.
• Experience configuring Windows servers to meet organizational needs.
• Knowledge of O365, Axure, TEAMS, SharePoint, and O365 cloud services.
• Experience with AD, InTune, SCCM, and WSUS.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user accounts and security.
• Monitor server performance and logs to ensure optimal functionality.
• Apply updates, patches, and service packs to Windows servers.
• Establish data backup and recovery strategies.
• Implement security measures including firewalls and antivirus solutions.
• Provide end-user support for Windows/O365 issues.
• Work with Hyper-V or VMware in virtualized environments.
• Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations.
