College of Southern Nevada is seeking an instructor to teach networking and IT certification courses across multiple campuses, in both in-person and online formats.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field with IT experience and at least 2 years of teaching in higher education or K-12. Starting salary placement depends on education level and experience; CSN offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or IT-related degrees; OR a bachelor’s degree with substantial IT experience.
• 2 years of teaching experience in higher education or K-12.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses that prepare students for IT certifications (Linux, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA 1–3, CompTIA Network+).
• Teach entry-level networking courses in classroom and online formats.
• Participate in program leadership, course development, scheduling, labs, and college committees.
