The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) invites applications for an adjunct instructor position in the CIT Networking program. The hire will primarily teach courses in information technology infrastructure and technical support, with opportunities to cover entry-level networking, cloud, and Linux topics.
Assigned courses, days, times and locations may vary, including weekends and online modes. Qualified candidates will typically hold an IT-focused degree and have teaching and IT support experience.
The CIT Networking program at CSN provides instruction in network routing-switching, Microsoft, Linux, and Cloud technologies. We are particularly interested in candidates that can teach entry-level networking, cloud, and Linux courses. This individual will be primarily responsible for teaching courses in subject matter pertaining to information technology infrastructure and technical support. A successful candidate does not need to be qualified to teach all of the above listed courses. Assigned courses, days, times and/or locations may vary from semester to semester. Assignments may be any combination of classroom and online modes. Assignments may be located on any combination of CSN’s several campuses. Assignments may be any combination of any days of the week including weekends. Assignments may be any combination of courses for which instructor is qualified. Teaching assignments may include one or more courses that prepare student for certifications such as: Comptia A+ Network+ Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA Microsoft 365 and Azure courses AWS Cloud courses Linux.
Starting Salary range $925.00 Per Instructional Unit/Credit
