Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada seeks an instructor to teach entry-level networking, cloud, and Linux courses in the CSN IT Infrastructure program. You may be assigned courses that prepare students for CompTIA A+/Network+, CCNA, Microsoft 365/Azure, AWS, and Linux certifications.

Assignments may vary by semester and can be in-person or online across CSN campuses. Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s degree in IT, 1 year of teaching technical courses, and 2 years of IT networking/tech

Qualifications

• Associate degree with IT emphasis from a regionally accredited college or university.
• 1 year experience teaching technical courses.
• 2 years experience providing technical support in networking/IT.

Responsibilities

• Teach entry-level networking, cloud, and Linux courses.
• Assignments may vary by semester and may include online and in-person modes.
• Assignments may be located on CSN campuses and may include weekends.
• Prepare students for certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, AWS, Azure, Linux.
