Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking a part-time Cybersecurity Instructor to teach cybersecurity and network security courses across Charleston, North Las Vegas, Henderson, or remote settings based on availability. You will deliver lectures and labs, develop lesson plans, and assess student mastery while advising and supporting recruitment and curriculum efforts.

Required is a bachelor’s degree in a related field and teaching experience at college/university or workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• Teaching experience at college/university or workplace is required or preferred.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and lab-based instruction.

Responsibilities

• Lecture and Lab instruction for cybersecurity courses across multiple campus options.
• Develop lesson plans and course materials with Program Director input.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and outcomes; provide advisement and recruitment support.
• Contribute to program/curriculum development and delivery modes (online, hybrid, in-person).
