Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada seeks qualified instructors to teach courses preparing students for Linux, Microsoft technologies, Cisco CCNA, and CompTIA Network+ certifications. You will deliver entry-level networking courses in both classroom and online formats across CSN campuses.

This role requires availability for varied schedules, participation in program development, and collaboration with IT industry partners to support student internships and job placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with IT focus or related experience.
• 2 years of teaching experience in higher education or K-12.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in MIS/CS or related tech field.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and CompTIA certifications is desired.
• Experience teaching online and in-person via a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Experience in cloud/system administration and network engineering.
• Ability to network with IT industry and secure internships or jobs for students.
• Experience writing grants or obtaining program funding.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses that prepare students for Linux, Microsoft technologies, Cisco CCNA, and CompTIA Network+ certifications.
• Teach entry-level networking courses.
• Deliver courses in classroom and online formats.
• Be available to teach morning, afternoon, evening, weekdays or weekends.
• Courses may be taught across multiple CSN campuses.
